When & Where Are The Majors In Golf In 2023?


A guide to both the men’s and women’s golf major tournaments in 2023. The majors in golf always provide excellent viewing and entertainment. Bringing together all the top players to compete against each other. And yes that still holds true this year with the majors allowing players on the LIV Tour to compete, which I think is great, we want to see all the top players in the majors.  Let’s take a look at when and where the majors are this year.

The Dates Of Golf’s Majors:

Men’s Majors:

  • The Masters at Augusta National – 6th – 9th April
  • The PGA Championship at  Oak Hill Country Club – 18th – 21st May
  • The US Open at Los Angeles Country Club – 15th – 18th June
  • The Open at Royal Liverpool Golf Club – 20th-23rd July

Women’s Majors:

  • The Chevron Championship – The Club at Carlton Woods (USA) – 20-23rd April
  • KPMG Women’s PGA Championship – Baltusrol Golf Club (USA) – 22nd-25th June
  • US Women’s Open – Pebble Beach (USA) – 6th-9th July
  • Evian Championship – Evian Resort Golf Club (France) – 20th-23rd July
  • AIG Women’s Open – Walton Heath (UK) – 10th-13th

Moving on to the women’s game and with 5 majors on the calendar let’s take a look at where they will be heading. 

 

The Chevron Championship

Where: The Club at Carlton Woods (USA)

Dates: 20-23rd April

2022 Champion: Jennifer Kupcho

 

KPMG Women’s PGA Championship

Where: Baltusrol Golf Club (USA)

Dates: 22nd-25th June

2022 Champion: In Gee Chun

 

US Women’s Open

Majors in golf in 2023 - US Women's Open - Pebble Beach

 

Where: Pebble Beach (USA)

Dates: 6th-9th July

2022 Champion: Minjee Lee

 

Evian Championship

Where: Evian Resort Golf Club (France)

Dates: 20th-23rd July

2022 Champion: Brooke Henderson

 

AIG Women’s Open

Where: Walton Heath (UK)

Dates: 10th-13th

2022 Champion:Ashleigh Buhai

This year’s Women’s Open will be taking place at Walton Heath Golf Club in the UK, ranked 35th in the Top 100 Courses in the UK and Ireland.
